Who can be included

The programme is unusually accommodating on dependants, which is often why larger families choose it. A spouse, dependent children, dependent parents and, in defined circumstances, unmarried siblings may be included, and future spouses and children of dependants can in some cases be added after citizenship is granted. The precise definitions and age limits matter, and we will go through them against your own family before you apply.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 or over and of good character
  • A clean criminal record, evidenced by police certificates
  • Good health, with no contagious disease or serious health condition
  • Evidence of the lawful source of the invested funds
  • No prior visa refusal from a country with which Antigua & Barbuda has visa-free travel, unless a visa was subsequently obtained
  • A residence requirement to be met within a defined period after citizenship is granted

Travel access

An Antigua & Barbuda passport provides visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to a substantial number of destinations, including the United Kingdom and the countries of the Schengen Area. Travel arrangements are agreed between governments and change; we do not publish a headline count, because any figure printed on a website is out of date the moment a single arrangement changes. We will give you the current position for the destinations that matter to you.
