Residency

Living in Antigua & Barbuda.

Two distinct routes, for two very different situations — permanent residence for those relocating, and the Nomad Digital Residence for those who work remotely.

Permanent residence

Permanent Residence

Available to those who establish a genuine base in Antigua & Barbuda. In outline, an applicant is expected to:

  • Maintain a permanent place of residence in Antigua & Barbuda
  • Spend a minimum period in the country each year
  • Evidence an annual income above the prescribed threshold
  • Pay the annual levy set by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue

The income threshold and levy are set by government and change. We will confirm the current figures for you before you commit to anything.

Nomad Digital Residence

Nomad Digital Residence

A two-year residence for people employed or self-employed outside Antigua & Barbuda who can work remotely, and who continue to pay income tax where they are resident.

  • Applicants must be 18 or over
  • Employed or self-employed outside Antigua & Barbuda, working remotely
  • Evidence of income above the programme minimum
  • A clean criminal record

Fees are set per applicant and scale with family size. We will give you the current schedule on request.

Residency requirements, income thresholds and fees are set by the Government of Antigua & Barbuda and change from time to time. Figures are deliberately not published here; ask us and we will confirm what applies today.
